I'm only guessing here but I will look into it I bet it's fluctuation of prices of jalapenos through the seasons
Absolutely fabulous food! Was near my motel, and we got dinner there both nights.
The service was really good and the food was delicious and fresh.the best mexican food in the area. Also the price was good comparing to the value.
Had the special, 2 tamales with green sauce chicken and oh my God was it good. Pretty reasonable price wise too. Definitely worth it. Friendly staff. The restroom was a bit weird. Had to go outside to get to it, and it was really small. Would go again.
Not authentic at all. Very bland food. Chicken tastes like it came from a can.
Really great gem in Moab! Great Mexican food, good for late night eats, and inexpensive.
My wife does not enjoy the heat, but said she'd be willing to come back to Moab just because she enjoyed this restaurant so much. Great little place. Good food, reasonable prices, good selection.
Thank you for being open late and having a wide selection of delicious, quality food with fair prices! It was a nice end to our day of hiking in 100 degree weather in Arches. Super good horchata!
Loved the food! I ordered the ceviche tostada and two tacos. The food came quickly and tasted very fresh and light.
Fantastic food at very fair prices, and comes out fast and hot! Wonderful service as well. Our go-to place in Moab!
The chorizo and egg plate was amazing I’m getting hungry just looking at that picture I took
The service could have been a lot better but the food was awesome
We had their take out dinner on our second to the last night at Moab. Wish we had discovered them earlier. Their food is delicious! I went to bed with a smile. So we had Giliberto's again for breakfast. They didn't disappoint! Dinner: carnitas burrito, lengua and cabesa tacos. Breakfast: steak and potatoes, ham and cheese, lengua and carnitas burritos. Tortilla's texture was like a roti, just the right thickness and crispness, not at all starchy. Ratio of meat to beans to sour cream to onions was perfect! Even your last bite still has meat, not all tortilla. I heard from the other patrons that they had a good salas bar but unfortunately it was not available. You can dine in with appropriate social distancing. Have outdoor seating. Enough parking spaces, bike racks. Has drive thru. Friendly staff. Decor is a bit dated but we didn't go there for the ambiance.
I discovered this great Mexican restaurant about a year ago when I was in Moab. Stopped by again on my way to Mesa Verde the food is great, fast and tasty. To bad I don't live here. :( Always worth the money.
I usually love everything I get from here...except the flan. 99% of the time, the texture is curdled instead of smooth. It completely ruins the flan and I’m left extra disappointed. I’ve resorted to ordering 2 or 3 flans at a time just hoping one of them is made correctly.
Great Mexican food, reasonable prices. The shrimp tacos were definitely a standout. All the other tacos and sauces we tried were good as well. Good place for a quick bite - not a sit down like so many of the places in town.
Very good! Good service! Fair prices quality food!
Great taco shop in Moab. Super affordable and large servings. Open all hours. I was in town for four days and visited 3 times, once each for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast burrito was the best, super filling and a great way to fuel up before getting out for a big day on the trails.
Yum yum...authentic Mexican cuisine. Fast friendly and yummy.
DO NOT ORDER ONLINE THROUGH ORDER HERO, IT IS A SCAM! We learned the hard way when we went to pickup our order and they had no record of it. Not affiliated with the business. Google "order hero scam" and you'll get the idea.Otherwise, delicious breakfast burritos. Would order (in person) again!
Convenient Mexican food open late - perfect place to grab some grub after a long day of hiking! Be aware the menu is quite extensive and has both authentic Mexican food and more Americanized versions. Shredded and ground beef tacos will be more like Taco Bell (shredded cheese and shredded lettuce in a hard shell), while asada and carnitas tacos will be topped with onions and cilantro on small soft corn tortillas.
Pretty neat authentic Mexican restaurant near my hotel. They had indoor and outdoor seating depending on the weather. It seemed like there was also people eating at this establishment.
Got takeout based on a recommendation from a river guide. Good food for the price, quick service
Great food with outdoor patio seating. Don't miss trying the Mexican Street Corn
Excellent (breakfast) burritos. They are huge! One is equal to 3-4 tacos. A little language barrier, only because we're not used to menu.
This is the best food in Moab I could eat here everyday. The burritos are huge and are full of tasty fillings. Service is polite and quick. Breakfast lunch and dinner this is the place
Best Mexican food in moab. Family restaurant. Awesome staff.
Good location in heart of Moab, easy parking, wide menu of short order Mexican food well done, some outdoor seating, really nice folks run the place.
This is a Mexican fast food joint but the food almost tastes gourmet.I was in Moab for two days and both days I had dinners here after long days of hiking. The food hit the spot. The Horchata was brilliant, although they should allow for refills with reduced costs. I was asked to buy another drink when I asked for a refill. For food I had the carne asada combination plate, and an assortment of tacos and both were pretty tasty and reasonably priced.
Some seriously killer tacos and Mexican food and a fast drive through. Forget Taco Bell and go to Gilberro's.
This is as good as it gets. For authentic Mexican food, this one of go to places. They are fast and friendly and the food is not to be beaten.
Authentic refried beans and flavorful rice including grilled corn bits and peas. I had a shredded pork burrito. The meat was tender and delicious but the red sauce was a bit lacking in flavor. The beans were creamy but needed more salt flavoring. I also had a shredded beef taco with nothing but sone lettuce and a weak watery green sauce. The shell was made from a deep fried fresh corn tortilla. I prefer a more flavor packed Mexican fare with robust chunky salsa and rich spices. This was all a but bland. I enjoyed the quesadilla food truck much more.
This place was good, affordable and quaint. We went at around midnight ordered the Carnitas platter, Arizona burrito, Horchata and the fried cheesecake. Everything was great, the only reason I gave a 4 star is due to the customer service. The cashier seemed preoccupied, didn’t answer our questions and ignored us. Overall, the experience was wonderful.
Good food and service, would recommend it for Mexican in town.
Tacos and pork tamales were delicious. Street corn was amazing. Chicken tamalas lacked a little flavor but still good. They have Horchata and Jamaica so we were thrilled. Fantastic!
The food was so yummy! Loved it! I stop there everytime I'm praying thru!
Love this place! Great food and even better customer service. Definitely the best salsa around. Also this place is open when you really need some good food.
Love this place!! Tacos are beyond amazing! And they do not scrimp on the shrimp (or the beef!)! And their prices are reasonable (read: no tourist mark-up). I will absolutely be back!
The tacos were so good, we went back the very next day, for more. Beans and rice were great too, and don't forget to have a bottle of Coke with your meal.
Great food, great prices, great staff. I eat here every time I go to Moab. I always get a veggie chimichanga. It's not on the menu, but they are great about customizing my order.
Impressed! I will return! Good flavored chicken and steak! Big servings! Quick order at counter. Need better guac!
Good price, churro was good. The rest of the food was pretty bland, so if you arent big on spicy you'll love it. Kids seemed happy with their food.
Delicious! I had the carne asada tacos and my husband had the carne asada platter. The kids has a bean burrito. We stop in Moab several times a year on our drive up north and have eaten at several places here, but we have found our go-to place! My husband raved over the beans and rice, but my favorite part was the spicy guacamole sauce.
this place was amazing, many food options and the food comes super quick. great place to go if you need food quick and want quality food
Awesome horchata and vegetarian options. I went today they were doing dine in
food is good.. ask for the chile relleno quesadilla( not listed on menu) .. youll thank me later! ;-)
Good mexican food, just in my opinion, not the taste i prefer. But still good, real good. And i'm also not the one to judge whether its authentic or not.
Fast Mexican food that is decent. I end up here for convenience. The drive through is nice when the world is ending because of a virus and you're afraid of going into buildings with strangers.
best carne asada burrito i’ve had in a loooooong time!
